GoMigo Privacy Policy
Last updated:
GoMigo is developed and published by Capibara LLC. This policy applies to the GoMigo app. Our website is covered by the separate Capibara Website Privacy Policy.
GoMigo is in beta. This policy describes how the app works today and will be updated before public release.
In short
- To join the beta we ask only for an email address. We do not ask for your name, and there are no purchases or ads.
- Your group details and preferences are saved on your device and sent with each request so GoMigo can calculate recommendations and plans.
- Location is optional, used only while the app is in use, and never sent to the language model or saved in our records.
- Usage events are tied to a random session code, not to your email address.
- You can ask us to delete your email address and ratings at any time from the address you registered.

About this policy
This policy explains how GoMigo, an app developed and published by Capibara LLC, handles information. It applies only to GoMigo. Our corporate website is covered by the separate Capibara Website Privacy Policy.
GoMigo is in a private beta and is not yet available in the App Store or Google Play. This policy describes the app as it works today. We will update it before public release and whenever the way GoMigo handles information changes.
Your email address and the beta
To start using the beta, GoMigo asks for an email address and nothing else. We check that it looks like an email address but do not send a verification message, and there is no password. The address is stored on our servers together with when you first and last signed up, how many times you have signed up, the app language and the platform (Android, iPhone or web), in a file kept separate from usage events.
We use your email address to manage beta access and, if you write to us, to answer you and confirm requests such as deletion. We do not send advertising, we do not share the address, and it is never sent to the language-model service or included in usage events.
While the beta runs we keep your email address and ratings until you ask us to delete them. We will set fixed automatic deletion periods before public release and publish them here.
Ratings and comments
From time to time GoMigo may ask, in a small banner, how it is working for you. Rating is optional. If you rate it, we store the score, any comment you write, the park, the language, how the rating was requested and the version of our service, linked to your beta record. We use them to improve GoMigo.
Information stored on your device
GoMigo saves your chosen park, your group, your preferences and reservations, your plan for the day, the state of your visit (for example, rides already done) and your beta email address in the app's storage on your device, so you do not have to enter them again. The app also creates a random session code on your device.
You can remove the email address from the device in Group › More preferences › Access email, and remove everything by clearing the app's data or uninstalling the app. This does not delete the copy on our servers; see “Deleting your information” below.
Information sent to our service
To calculate a recommendation or a day plan, the app sends a request to GoMigo's service. Depending on what you ask for, the request can include the park and date, your group's heights and labels, your preferences, meals and Lightning Lane reservations, the rides you have done, and — only if you allow it — your current location. This information is used to answer that request and is not stored with your email address.
You do not need to use real names in your group. Labels such as “Adult”, “Child 1” or initials work just as well.
Location
Location is optional. GoMigo asks for permission only while the app is in use and does not request background location. When you allow it, your position is used to work out where you are in the park and how long it will take to walk to each attraction. You can always choose your area manually instead.
Your coordinates are not saved in our records, and GoMigo does not keep a history of where you have been. They are removed before anything is sent to the language-model service; only the general area of the park is included.
GoMigo AI and written explanations
GoMigo's own recommendation logic calculates which attractions are suitable and all the numbers. A language model may then choose among those candidates and write a short explanation, and it writes the note that accompanies a day plan. To do this, GoMigo sends the calculated results — attraction names, waits, walking times, the park area — together with your group's labels, heights and an age range estimated from height, and your preferences, meals and reservations.
The language model is Microsoft Azure OpenAI, accessed through Azure AI Foundry with a resource located in the United States. Microsoft processes these requests under its enterprise terms and does not use them to train its models. Because GoMigo uses a global deployment, Microsoft may process a request in another region where it operates the model, and it may keep requests for up to 30 days only to detect abuse. Your email address, your exact location and your ratings are never sent. If the service is unavailable, GoMigo shows the calculated suggestion without it.
Usage events
To understand which parts of GoMigo are useful, the app sends a limited, predefined set of usage events — for example, that a recommendation was shown, accepted or passed, that you joined the beta, or that a rating was asked for or sent — together with the park, the attraction, the time and the random session code. These events do not include your email address, your location or anything you type.
The session code lets us see that several events came from the same visit. It is not linked to your email address, your name or a device advertising identifier.
Trip links from a travel planner
If a travel planner prepared your visit and gave you a GoMigo trip link, the link identifies that trip. While you use it, progress notes about your day (such as the park area you are in or rides you have completed) can be recorded against the trip so that your planner can help you. If you did not receive a trip link, this does not apply to you.
Park information
Wait times and park information are gathered by our service from publicly available and third-party sources. Your personal information is not sent to those sources. GoMigo is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by any theme-park operator.
Where information is processed
GoMigo's servers are hosted by a cloud hosting provider in the United States, and the language-model service is provided by Microsoft Azure as described above. If you use GoMigo from another country, your information is transferred to and processed in the United States.
Technical information and security
Like any online service, our web servers record basic technical information for each request, such as IP address, device and browser type and the time of the request. We use it to keep the service running and secure, including limiting how many requests can be made from one address. Under our current configuration these server logs are deleted after about two weeks.
Information travels between the app and our service over encrypted HTTPS connections. The beta email file is stored with access restricted to the GoMigo service and our administrators, and we limit access to our systems to the people who operate them. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work to protect the information we handle.
Service providers
We use service providers to run GoMigo: a cloud hosting provider for our servers and Microsoft Azure for the language-model features described above. They process information only to provide their services to us.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.
Children
GoMigo is intended for adults planning a visit, including visits with children. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect an email address from a child under 13. It does not ask for children's names, ages or contact details — only heights, so it can check ride eligibility, and optional labels you choose. If you believe a child has given us an email address, write to us and we will delete it.
Deleting your information
You can ask us to delete your email address, your beta record and every rating and comment linked to it. Send the request from the email address you used in GoMigo, or follow the steps on the GoMigo data deletion page. If the request comes from another address, we will write to the registered address to confirm before deleting anything. We answer within 30 days.
Usage events and server logs are not linked to your email address, so we cannot connect them to you; server logs are deleted automatically after about two weeks.
Your choices
You can use GoMigo without location, change or remove your group and preferences at any time, decline every rating request, and clear all on-device data by clearing the app's data or uninstalling it. For any other question or request about your information, write to us.
Changes to this policy
We will update this policy before GoMigo is publicly released and whenever our practices change. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
To ask us to delete your information, use the GoMigo data deletion page.
